The most important weight loss skill is……

Getting in Rhythm?

Rhythm makes things easy. Once you’re on the beat that is.

When you’re off, things just don’t line up right and you fight yourself a bit.

It can be frustrating to say the least.

That’s why I think one of the most important skills you can have in staying lean and healthy is developing a skill that most people don’t talk about.

If it doesn’t boost your metabolism, make you sweat until there’s a pool of water, or cause you to be sore for 5 days it’s probably not doing anything. Right?

Yes all of those things have a time and place and age when appropriate.

But here’s the secret….

Staying lean, healthy and fit is a long game.

The skill you to develop for maximum results isn’t pulling in your belly button (although that is a great one) It’s getting back in rhythm with sleep, eating, and positive relationships that fall inline with your goals.

Sometimes that positive relationship is with yourself, other times it’s with other people.

Break the bad rhythm and get back into going to bed before 10:30, drinking water, meditation, reading positive or motivational things.

Get back in rhythm with what makes you do and feel your best whatever it is. For me it’s turning off the tv early and going to bed before 10:30.

When you get off, and you will… Get back on!

Make getting back on the thing you do the best!

Little habits, little victories, and celebrating what you did well is the key to knowing that you can achieve great things, one step at a time, day after day.
